Seemed like we traded picks every year....

1998: Manny Malhotra (seventh overall)
1999: Pavel Brendl (fourth overall) & Jamie Lundmark (ninth)
2000: none
2001: Dan Blackburn (10th overall)
2002: none
2003: Hugh Jessiman (12th overall)
2004: Al Montoya (6th overall) & Lauri Korpikoski (19th)
2005: Marc Staal (12th overall)
2006: Bob Sanguinetti (21st overall)
2007: Alexei Cherepanov (17th overall)
2008: Michael Del Zotto (20th overall)
2009: Chris Kreider (19th overall)
2010: Dylan McIlrath (10th overall)
2011: J.T. Miller (15th overall)

Just never crappy enough to get below 4th overall.... That and crappy drafting. Cherepanov would have been a monster had he not died...

0-0, but I'm not sure the crowd was alive to begin with. Players could hear a coin drop from the concession area.
Typical Rangers rope a dope. I liked it. I say we drop a pair in the 2nd and take control.

I know we needed OT to beat them, but there's no way I can see Columbus getting 4 in a game, much less a period. At least we laid our egg against Chicago. San Jose is so blah this year.

Lines need to be changed. Dubinky back to Callahan, Hagelin down. I have enough of these experiments before Nash trade is announced.

Yeah he ****ed that up. Carolina is the one notorious for being very, very loud.

He's serious. Carolina had one of the highest recorded decibel levels in a hockey game.

Edit: Actually, I can't tell if he's joking too... But Carolina is no slouch when it comes to crowd noise.

I'd rather keep Hagelin with Cally.

NYR were playing well until that horrid cross-ice pass to no one by Prust. Momentum shifted big time off that single play.

It has nothing to do with fan's, its all about acoustics of the buildings. And I said this yesterday as well, that unless you put a sensor in every building for every game, there is no way to tell which building is actually "loudest".
