Greene was fine tonight. His style of play is going to result in penalties. I can live with it.

Tonight was Mitchell's worst game as a King.

If Martinez can't handle this type of game then why the hell is he playing ? Voynov ? Hello ?

The Clifford penalty call was a lame call.

And I also notice, JJ can't even hit the net in a shootout, props to him

You know how good teams find ways to win? Well... The Kings aren't one of those. In fact, they're quite the opposite. It's like they invent ways to lose

Kings back in eighth.

And that why it was considered intent to injure. There was enough time for Clifford to assess the situation and NOT take that shot at Brule, who didn't have the puck, and wasn't looking.

I mean those are ALL things that Shanny points out in his video breakdowns almost every time.

Trying to get players to think more about their actions.

The kings have always been good with leads. You are being way too dramatic.

Going to try to keep this positive

We moved back into 8th

- in my opinion it seems that many of the Kings are a nano second off. It's like they are over thinking instead of just reacting. I see it in two particular places, when shooting and when a puck squirts loose and a decision has to be made to attack or back off.

- Kopitar, Richards, Doughty, Johnson, Penner, Williams, Gagne, Brown and even Stoll are all considered well above average offensive players at the positions they play. I firmly believe Murray turned them into robots instead of letting their offensive instincts control their thought process. If I am Sutter it is time to see what we have. Switch up the system, see what we have for next year. Ya it may screw up the boys a bit but it will also mess with the other teams per game prep as the Kings have played the same style and predictability since Murray started

I am one of the more negative peeps.

But I thought the Kings showed progress on Offense.

They actaully made life tough on Mike Smith.

Baby steps, the D is going to have a bad game, but the O needs a game like this.

Kopitar still played a little too much on the boards. He needs to watch Doan more.

Trading Clifford would be silly. He's gotten back into gear (sans fighting) since Sutter was hired, he just blew tonight.

I'm sorry but Clifford came out of the box (after taking a bad penalty) looking to hit everything in sight. That was a reckless and late hit to a guy who had no idea he was coming. Kings were lucky that Phx got a 2min as well. Clifford cost LA two goals against tonight. If he doesn't get suspended he should be benched.

Tomorrow in the the high altitude of Colorado should be fun. Penner will be the only one in the lineup who wont be gased by the end of the 1st

I think the Kings should try to play the same way again, and hang their hat on the fact that goaltending and our defense won't do this two games in a row.

I think Clifford is definitely better this year. His stick is more active, he's better at handling the puck, passing better.

Truly, I've seen worse than the plays he attempted when he got those calls in the third.

Clifford nearly poked the puck out of the defensive zone on that first call.

Brule was caught watching his pass on the second call which is why he got his bell rung, when if he was just paying attention like he should have, Clifford's hit would have been nothing.

I suspect Penner would die after the first shift then! LOL. He is still out of shape.

Brown had a good game and played his heart out. That is all I have to say that was good about this game.

The Kings manage to find a way to give away points within the Conference. Let's see if they'll get their s#!t together tomorrow.
