I was hoping he was going to drop the gloves tonight. Was a little disappointed...He wasn't spectacular out there either, kept losing the puck due to bad stick handling skills.

Well, Boulerice was scratched for Carolina, so it was not a big surprise to not see him fight. In his defense, he made a good pass on Plekanec's last goal.

I'm happy about this, we need someone to throw a big hit or pick a fight. If I played in the NHL I would have tried as hard as I can to fight someone or at least hit really hard(even borderline dirty) after the Canucks scored those 2 fast goals to change up the tempo and try to swing momentun our way.
I think a better player to serve that purpose would be Matthew Barnaby. He was a fan favorite in New York because of his heart, character, competitiveness and willingness to be physical.

no big deal and it not a huge gamble really

he make 450,000
season more than half over so probally 200,000 left on contract
st louis has to pay half due to him be lost to waivers

100,000 dollar isnt much of a gamble

he alreay got 1 point
