I wouldn't mind Luc as the GM, but we should stay as far away from Gretzky as possible. We should have grabbed Tippett when we had the chance in 09. Nill would be a good idea for a GM, I'd be interested in seeing the changes he would bring.

I'd like to stay as far away as possible to Luc as the Kings GM.

Bob Hartley.

Seriously, this guy has gotten the short end of the stick twice. He came in first in his division and made at least the conference finals in all four of his full seasons as head coach of Colorado, winning one Stanley Cup in the process. Then gets fired after 31 games in his 5th season? Wtf.

Then he goes to Atlanta improves their point total each year (78 to 90 to 97) and leads them to their only division title ever and only playoff berth ever. Starts the next year 0-6 and gets canned. Again, wtf?

And guys like Forsberg, Sakic, Hejduk, Drury, Tanguay, and Kovalchuk all flourished greatly under him so he obviously doesn't ruin your offense. Kovalchuk had his best season ever under Hartley with 52 G and 46 A for 98 points.

I've always been a Hitchcock guy, too bad he's with St Louis. But a lot of people would shy away from him due to his past affinity for a defense first, second, and third approach. Also, if Chicago ever parted ways with Coach Q, he'd be very high on my list.

Yep, great candidate for a Head Coach.

As a coach, yep. Not as a GM yet though.

I'd take Luc as GM over Sam "The Disaster" McMaster any day of the week.

I've always noticed it too, and it does annoy me. But not as much as it used to, I guess I'm used to it now, lol.

Too bad Dale Tallon is gone, I would've loved to have a guy like that. You see how he flipped that Panthers franchise upside down? From one of the ********* teams in the NHL, to a division-leader.

Hextall would bring to the same table the same thing as Lombardi. If we're making a change, it's a complete change. I'm not sure about GMs, but how about Tony Granato for head coach? Or Bob Boughner?

I'd hire myself. I'd keep DL as my assistant.

Seriously, I'm all-in for Nill (and have been, for awhile now). Yeah, it might be virtually impossible to pry him out of Detroit, but why not swing for the fences for once? A big fat "No" to Hextall; from my personal experience, mentees are either carbon-copies of or total antithesis to their mentors, and neither of those would appeal to me...
