Energy from a building

Tonight we get to see how a team can get energy from their fans that results in wins and points. The place is electric and the record reflects that. To start the year analysts talked about how that building was going to be tough to play in and how the team would struggle on the road (they are not that good).

Jets record at home: 18-9-2
Jets record on road: 11-17-4

The Jets fanbase won't be like this forever.

It's their first season in a long time, so I would hope they're going nuts.

I love watching their home games just because of the fans. Check out the picture:

I'm not so sure about that...They've got a young team with a lot of talent. Once they start becoming a perennial playoff team it'll be nuts. As for the fanbase, if there are fans that lose their energy and thirst for the team/sport...there are more waiting in line for season tickets. It's only a 15,000 person arena.

i agree that the jets fans are adding a HUGE intangible when they play at home, maybe flyers fans could follow suit and get nuts during home games and, despite his lackluster season and somewhat anti-phila press interviews as of late, support bryz and see if it gives them a boost. i've been to a lot of games this season and i don't think, even though its sold out, i've heard a quieter phila crowd in years. the only time you can really hear them is when its boo's or negative comments and i think this has a direct link to the average home record vs. the steller away record.
