PK has always said the right things, it's a good thing that people around the league are starting to notice that he isn't the glorified self-centered, overrated pest some people portray him as.
I like this quote from the article and I agree 100% with the GM who said it..
Quote:
"I'd freakin' take him in a heartbeat," an NHL GM, who requested anonymity, told ESPN.com this week. "No question about it. He's a great young talent. He can do things few young defensemen can do. I don't care about the other stuff. He'll mature as a person and as a player. I can live with that. The Canadiens would be crazy to ever deal him."
i saw a post on FB some girl posted that i can relate to PK and how people feel about it. and it's so true:
when you hate someone, every little inane thing they do pisses you off. "look at that ***** eating that ****ing cracker, makes me want to punch her in the face"

Kid wants to win. I love it. I hope the habs put him, price and pacioretty in a situation where they can be surrounded with talented guys and be perrenial playoff locks.
on him and crosby, i remember this season against pitts where pk hit him or got the puck away from him or both and sid gave him a little bump as they were heading near their benches. it was a respect bump. he got frustrated by PK and his check was like "you got me good you ****er!" i think sid likes and respects PK for that drive they have in common, and that passion. completely different players but they have the same thing fueling them at their core. maybe the olympics one day soon...

the more you hear about him the more there is to like
I've never really understood all the hatred directed towards PK to be honest.. I wonder if he wasn't a Hab would he still get crapped on this much?
All I see is a guy very confident in his abilities and I love reading quotes like the one below from him..
Quote:
"It's hard to compare myself to the other 21- and 22-year-old defensemen in the league because they probably haven't gone through half the things I've gone through playing in Montreal. But that being said, it's made me such a better player. I'm confident I can play anywhere else in the league and I wouldn't have any problems. Playing in Montreal is a unique experience and I love it. I love playing in this pressure-cooker. I love the attention our team gets. This is what you want. As a young player coming into the NHL, you want to be in the middle of everything. I really thrived on it."

no I dont either, none of it really has any basis where with other players you see the reasons
hes not dirty, not lazy, .....dunno man
what really blows me away is he can play this well on this team at this time
Honestly I dont get how he could be getting any flack here. He's still on the pathway of being an elite NHL defenceman, and wants more than anything to be a member of the Montreal Canadiens.
He's playing 1/2 a freakin' game a night, and not looking very out of place (save for a moment or 2) doing it.
TBH To me, he is the most untradeable guy on the team. He's still projecting to be a Superstar IMHO... Him and Price can be something very special, and it's slowly coming together.
ahahahah one of the best interview I've ever read.
I like PK. He's having kind of a sophomore jinx, but I really believe in him. He's going to be a great defenseman and I really hope it's for us.
