If we beat Vancouver, great. If not, we've still won 9 of 12, with a loss to a Western Conference team. Right now is about HOW the team is playing. I'll worry about how we match up with Vancouver, possibly, in June.

Maybe not in a 7 game series, but in one game, anything can happen.

Ya, but we needed a shootout to beat them.

It would be nice to not crap the bed like the test matchups against the Bruins earlier. There should not be any excuses to not put up at least a representative effort. They don't have to win (it would be nice) but they can't look like chumps

The team seems to have turned the proverbial corner after the tune ups against the bruins. I think we'll shock the 'nucks.

Since the All-Star break we've been playing very good hockey. The only game where we completely didn't show up was against Florida.

There was a couple of times when going into those Bruins games that we could have felt good about the way the team was playing.

The devils are a much deeper team than from before the allstar break. I like that new fourth line in practice today; carter-Josefson-Palmieri.

But when it comes down to it where gonna need boulton or cam in the playoffs for matchup purposes, unles palmieri learns how to fight and ups his grinding.

Fighting isn't an issue in the playoffs. Palmieri's toughness is good enough to be a fourth liner.

When we get zajac back, that unit can be very hard to play against
