Flyers win this 3:2
Bryz lets in a weak one to tie the game but shuts the door afterwards.

after my beloved oilers, I really enjoy watching the flyers play. Maybe it's the many year's worth of watching the oilers get physically manhandled in the NW, but I love the combined grit and skill level on recent versions of the flyers.

Expecting a high scoring game. Both sets of forwards are loaded with skill, both D-corps fairly immobile compared to some of the better groups in the league.

Enjoy!

Hmm interesting...one of the writer's we follow in today's blog post even mentions the ice...guess like me he thought it was still good. Guess we stand corrected. I hope it's not as bad as MSG!

The outstanding ice surface in their home rink often works to the Oilers' benefit, where they have gained points in 19 of 29 games (15-10-4) as opposed to their dreadful road record of 8-22-2.

So it looks like Dubnyk is starting for the Oilers and it's possible Bob gets a start for us. I hope the Flyers don't make Dubnyk look like a stone wall....

It's not as good as it used to be but the players still like it:

Puck hit Bryzgalov in the head during practice.
Expect at least one soft goal.

Looking forward to this game. Enjoy games against West teams that we don't play too often. Hopefully we don't get killed by Oilers speed. RNH is out I think, so definitely a plus for us. Love Edmontons jerseys, 100 times better then their copper/navy crap they had. Hartnell and Simmonds on the same line again? Hope so, gritty line for sure. GO FLYERS

Over/Under on weak unscreened wrister goals from the point? I'll say 2, and I'll take the over. Prove me wrong Bryz, prove me wrong.

Maybe the players also realize the only option with bryz is LTIR.

The thing about the Oilers is that literally anything could happen. It is within the realm of possibility that we get beat 9-2 or that we win 8-7.

Yep I knew that. Back in the day the Hockey News really kept you informed about junior hockey and the Wheat Kings were one of the teams that had a lot of fire power.

For those who put stock in such numbers... Bryzgalov's highest GAA against Western Conference teams is 3.00 against the Oilers. 8-6-0-0 record.

Flames will not be an easy win imo. That will be a tough close game.

Might knock some sense into him, get his mind of the ****ing universe. Didn't some of the players shoot the puck at Cechmanek's head right before he was traded to L.A. In a parallel universe Bryz should get traded than right?
