toughest arena to play in?

What does everyone think the sabres toughest arena is to go in and play in? I would say Melon arena in Pittsburgh, they are just god awful there for some reason like Toronto is when they come to hsbc. As for the entire league I'd say most teams have trouble going into Joe Louis Arena and winning.

thoughts?

Tuffest for Sabres?

I'd say HSBC Arena. Crowd is either 10,500 or when sold out, we get out chanted by the opposing teams fans. I bet it kills the players.

Without a doubt for the Sabres it is Skyreach in Edmonton (formerly Northlands). Our all-time record there is simply brutal, something like 5-21. The old Spectrum was also tough for us. Boston, Detroit, Montreal and St. Louis have also been Sabre graveyards. You are right about lately though, Pittsburgh has been rough, Vancouver too.

Definitely Nationwide in Columbus is the toughest. Those people are loud, intelligent, and they stand for the last couple minutes if Columbus has a lead.

Noise doesn't make it tough to play a road game in hockey. It's not like Satan is audiblizing at the LOS. Odd how those idiots in Columbus are noisy for a hockey game and you could hear a pin drop in the Horseshoe in 1998 against The Michigan State.

As of right now, i'd have to say the Aud. No ice makes it very tough for hockey

I'll vote for Maple Leaf Gardens in a few years.

It will be really tough to play with all those pesky shoppers going up and down the aisles........

Be even tougher to play in the Boston Gahden, what with cars to avoid.

*slaps everyone silly*

I meant arenas that are not abanonded, have ice, and are in use by NHL teams this season.
