Do you guys have any specific order you pack your gear or just stuff it all in?
For me i always go with pants, chest protector, shins, elbow guards, helmet and skates in main compartment in my over shoulder bag or in backpack on the side pockets, jersey, socks, underarmour, jock go in one side pocket and tape, shin tape, pucks, and wax go in the other side pocket.
For my backpack shins go inside my pants and my chest protector wraps around my helmet lol.
I pack in the order the pads come out. Chest/shoulder, elbow, pants, shins. helmet and gloves on top. Jock, jersey, and socks in side compartment. My skates go in the skate compartment.
Skates in skate pocket, socks/jersey/underarmour/wax/tape/etc. in the end-pocket, everything else in the main part of the bag. Big things in first, small things in the gaps.
I have a Reebok backpack..I throw my elbow pads in..put my shinpads inside pants and stand pants up in middle..put shoulder pads infront of pants..helmet ontop of pants..and gloves on left/right of helmet
Skates in side pockets. Pants in the bag, then shins in the pants. Helmet at the bottom with cup, mouthguard, and sock tape in it. Followed by gloves and elbows. Shoulders get shoved in over top. Jerseys rolled up and set on top, then zipped close. Front pocket, socks are folded and put in along with undershirt and skate socks. Wear jock to/from rink. Sticks are taped and ready to go before I leave so no screwing around.
This is the crucial piece here: I've got to forget my water bottle in the car, get out to the room, set it all down, and then swear and walk back out to the car, come back, and fill it up with disgusting bathroom sink water. After that, I swear again because for two years now I've had to do shins over tongues and it completely messes up the flow of getting dressed.
Helmet in one end compartment, undershirt, socks, jock, jerseys, and tape in the other. Skates in the skate pockets on the side. Pads are stacked from the bottom as follows: shoulders, pants, shins. Elbows and gloves are stuffed in.
Put my skates and helmet in first on the bottom, then breezers, then shoulder pads, then shin pads, then everything else as needed gets dispersed over top. My gear bag doesn't have a skate pocket.

I Have the same set up in my backpack too! cept for the socks and jerseys i have no front pocket in the bag so i just stuff em in the main compartment in a laundry bag!
Cram it in, as long as the zipper closes I am good to go, and once Im at the rink I usually pullout the pants and everything is visible. LOL at packing it in accrodance to putting your gear on.
I really want a backpack with a separate pocket for wet clothes. That's it. I don't mind the cramming (makes me remember to pack everything). I just hate having to put wet stuff with clean as I bring home and away socks and jerseys to every game.
I put it in bottom to top the order it goes on. So shoulders and pants on the bottom, with elbows and gloves, shins, skates, helmet on top because it goes on the hook or shelf as soon as i get to the room. Jerseys, socks, UA, in one end pocket, towel and shower stuff in the other. I don't put my skates in the skate pockets, I put the odds and ends in there. Tape, wax, extra laces etc.
No order. I keep a string bag for my wet dry clothes coming in and wet close coming back. Other than that, I just try to keep my helmet away from my gloves and shins.
