Always been a fan of Dustin Brown.
If the Nash deal falls through by Sunday, I hope we get involved with Brown.

So this seems like a foregone conclusion at this point... Well, if Glen has a plan to keep the young talent and make this work with the cap moving forward, I guess I'm on board.

And yes, in my opinion as well Dustin Brown and Chris Stewart would be better additions than Nash but this is only going to happen in NHL 12.
speaking of NHL 12 i got Pavelski McGinn and Ferrero from the Sharks
ripped them off only offered Wolski Avery and Zuccarelo

Assume they're basing it on the following tweet:

Lots of banter, even here in Toronto, over Carter and Nash potential trades (not necessarily involving Leafs). Deals are getting close.

What is the proposed price for Nash?
I've read through the entire thing but all I see is it involves McIlrath.

I admit it. I've grown to like the idea of adding Rick Nash to this team. Not a fan of the contract because it has the possibility to limit us in the future. I also don't like the idea of trading MDZ, McD et al, but could live with giving up Dubinsky, Thomas, McI, and a first....
However, if it's true that CLB wanted Couture from SJ, how is Dubinsky the only roster player moving from NY? To me, it doesn't add up and I think that's the hold up. CLB wants something else from the rangers and Sather doesn't want to budge. Although I really like the idea of
Anisimov-Stepan-Gaborik
Nash-Richards-Cally
Although, given the choice I'd prefer to sign Parise in the offseason.
AA-Stepan-Gaborik
Parise-Richards-Cally
Kreider-Dubi-Hagelin
Rupp-Boyle-Prust

PHX aren't sellers so I guess Zenith would be correct in guessing Sarich which would be a solid move. Probably cost no more than a 3rd.

Dubinsky, McIlrath/Erixon, Thomas, 1st as reported by Brooks.
I am praying it's McIlrath. Erixon will be a stud and I'd hate to lose him.
