JJ doesn't have question marks?

I would be thinking the same thing about Jack if I was a CBJ fan, but worse. The system is so defensive oriented and goals still head in at ES when Jack's on the ice. Carter is a former 45+ goal scorer, Jack's far less proven than that. It's a complete tossup.

I love JJ and think he might become a great number 1 in the next couple of years but I still make this deal.

I'm right there with you. Very against it.

Agree with you.

Are your sources saying more moves besides this possible one?

JJ has question marks no doubt, but I feel like he has improved every year. My big concerns and question marks about carter are his attitude problems we hear about. Plus all the things i had heard about him and richards always partying together.

Detroit also hasn't had to question the heart, desire, and overall leadership ability of their captain last time I checked either. They have some guy named Lidstrom over there I heard.

Bob just stated that Brown is "very much" in play. Apparently, LA wants another scorer and may have to move some salary to accommodate; if that is the case, I have to assume Brown's being moved for more than just cap reasons.

I am still hearing we are kicking Okposo's tires.

I hear that Penner is gone (big shocker)

Stoll is being shopped and Philly/Buf/Was looking at him.

A Mart is being shopped but after the JJ deal I wonder.

I am sitting with a great fountain of info at the Nick Shore vs Forbort game and will know more later.

I know for a fact that DL has closed allot of his leaks within the system.

Like I said before, I hear we are making at least 3 deals and this was one of them so maybe the other two will happen as well? I suck at these things.

If Brown moves, I think it would have to be in a package deal for a more prolific scorer. If so, any ideas about what would the other pieces be, and who would we target?

As said before Pomminville. Id rather see him go + for Vanek or Parise

I think Penner gets dealt before the deadline, but I wouldn't believe my eyes if Brown is traded. Just can't see it happening.

Botta (writer for NYT, very connected) says the Rangers are in on Brown. Make of it what you will.

I'd love to get Kreider in any Brown package if it went down.

Start with Dubinsky and add another young player/prospect along with him such as Chris Kreider or J.T. Miller.

Dubinsky is like another Mike Richards, he's more of a 40-50 point player but he's quite physical and isn't shy about dropping the gloves. He'll toughen up the Kings and give them a LW who can fit right in.

"Dennis Bernstein ‏ @DennisTFP
Early precincts reporting - TOR BUF PHI NYR interest in Dustin Brown."

I'm sure many more will line up.

Imagine Dean trading him for a defenseman.
