He's a kid. He's learning. Better to give him second chances than chase him out of town like we've done to every other talented youngster to come through this city. Chill out.
I think that blaming him from time to time does not mean people wanting him out. I believe that in this board, though in most boards, not liking somebody AUTOMATICALLY means wanting those people out. PK has a lot of things to learn and I find that some of his antics needs to be taken care of. Nowhere does that mean I want him out. You can have something to be worked on and yet be valuable to a hockey team see....Ribs, SKost, Grabs, Lats, Laps etc. Unless you are a real known **** disturber and that your pros does not surpass your cons, you are a goner. And Subban is not a goner. As far as I'M concerned, with all the big mistakes we made based on SUPPOSED cancers of this team, it will take a whole lot for me to want a guy out. Doesn't apply to management though, I know....Yet, I believe that this management's cons surpass their pros but that's for another topic.
Not that big of a deal. But that push by Subban was totally unecessary. This is freakin Desharnais we are talking about here. And contact in practice are usually made shoulders to shoulders, pushes like that are plain stupid. So PK hasn't done growing.
And that about sums it up. This excuse making about his "intensity in practice" is farcical. "Mr Intensity" won't throw em down during the game but seems to bring it all against his smaller teammates in practices.
Erik Cole has gone public trying to get a message through to this guy about his immaturity. Hasn't worked.
Coaches have tried yelling at him and benching him and scratching him. Hasn't worked.
Teammates have gotten pissed at him in practice (and that's only the public side). Hasn't worked.
He's 22. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Unfortunately he acts 14. Going on 12.
If I was on the Habs and we were 28th, I'd be mighty pissed all the time. I'm shocked they are still able to keep it together at all. Worst season in...well, actually since I've been alive. Shocking since we're really not that bad of a team, but if we really do come 28th (i.e. 3rd!!!) it will quite an interesting draft. That being said, I don't think anyone on the team is looking at it that way.
Meh. So are we going to help ourselves and hurt the leafs by letting Ovi score a hat trick in the first minute OR are we going to win again thus trolling ourselves and helping the leafs? Gotta love these huge implication games.
