DATW, I believe it was Erik Johnson who was in the Hurricanes system and he forced them to deal him to the Blues and then eventually the Blues traded him to Colorado.

It was Jack Johnson. As far as I understand it, the Canes wanted him to leave school early, and he didn't want to. They shipped him out for a package that included Tim Gleason, so they've done alright by the trade.

EJ was drafted 1st overall by St. Louis in 2006. JJ was 3rd overall in 2005 by Carolina, then traded to LA. Carolina needed a defenseman in the lineup, and JJ refused to leave school.
Yeah I've read on twitter Snow likes him and Nabby likes Long Island but wants to know what DP's status is. If they plan on getting Rick healthy and try to start again he won't be back.
