I know this is crazy but does Nolan have a chance in the NHL? His brother Brandon played for the Hurricanes.

Is it true that Lombardi is scouting in Manchester? Do you think he will call a player up? Kozun? Nolan? King?
Probably trying to figure out who to call up after a trade? I think he will.

He was spotted in Manchester Friday night and I heard Ken Cail interviewing him during the pregame show last night. I would think Nolan or King would get called before Kozun but who knows.

I'm not sure. I never even heard of Lombardi scouting in Manchester.

Most likely, King before Nolan.

If Cliche came up to the Kings and scored just HALF of the goals he's scored in Manchester .....well ...... he'd be in the King's top 6!!!

Id like to see him come up for a fortnight. Same with King. Im sure he is aching for a chance of redemption. Kozun can wait alittle longer

Alex Hudson and Paul Crowder?? Guess they need some warm bodies with the two call ups today. Looks like Czarnik is in the lineup, glad he's ok.

Still no Ethan Moreau eh? This is getting weird. Still on the roster (according to their site) but no news of him. I think I read on a blog from a newspaper that his status was a mystery to even the folks covering the team. Time's running out on the season; I wonder if he'll ever play....

I wouldn't hold my breath. If he hasn't played yet, he's most likely not going to play at all for Manch.

Moreau was waived so that his jersey number #17 could be worn by the soon to be King Jeff Carter!

The Monarchs announced a week or 2 ago that Moreau will not play at all this season.

I think Moreau is faking injury, a concussion, and the organization is going along with it to respect his wishes to not play for the Monarchs. Time to see what Hunter does, since he is on his way there now...

Lots of STH in Manch that agree with you.... one lucky guy to sit in a suite with his suit on and continue to collect a paycheck. Hope Hunter shows up in Manch with no "injury" and plays, Monarchs sure can use the help. The Monarchs are sucking big time since Nolan and King headed to the west coast.

So a replay of Priessing and his sudden "whiplash" symptoms then?

Vey is in the top 20 in rookie scoring and 3rd overall on the Monarchs. He's having a good year.

Yeah, Vey is having a great rookie year imo. He's been relied upon a lot lately for scoring and he has produced. He's playing against the other teams' top guys now. He's developing fine.

Poor Monarchs, they've gone right into the toilet this month... We keep jacking all of their players. Feel bad for them and Morris.

I wouldn't disagree, but I think Morris will have alot more options next year with toffoli, AA, and a more mature blueline. (king or Nolan will be there as well). I'm high on kozun and vey as they should provide a spark as well.
