Go Oil.

That lead won't last long though. They are gunning for the 1st overall again.

Should Winnipeg keep their 4-0 lead over TB with 10 minutes left in the third they will become the #3 seed and push Florida into 8 place and Toronto down to 9.

Jordan Eberle scores again.

I refuse to give him expectations, he'll just exceed it.

The Oilers powerplay causes such chaos, generates so many chances. Beautiful to watch.

As far as I know, Torts isn't in charge of the PP. It's all Sullivan's fault!

@ the TSN article talking about the Jets taking over first in the Southeast without a single mention of how they've played *4 more games* than the Panthers.

I wonder how many points the teams in the Atlantic minus the Isles and the teams in the central minus the BJs would have in the southeast.

Christensen is just a PP killer

Michael Russo ‏ @Russostrib Reply Retweet Favorite Open
Next shift, Christensen easily knocked off puck on entry. This guy has to be stronger on puck or he'll be overseas next year

No Chad Rau or Erik Christensen for a long time; nor in OT

Gotcha.

If the guy actually tried, he'd be scary. He's got undeniable skill. But if Torts couldn't get him going, I don't think anyone else will.

From the article;

The Montreal Canadiens' talented young defenceman was involved in his fourth skirmish with a teammate this season at practice Thursday
He practices as hard as he plays it seems...

Also anyone see Hartnell with that nasty knee on knee tackle?

Love the cockiness that Subban brings to the table. If he could learn to control his temper better on the ice, he could be one hell of a player. A dynamic offensive defensemen with a huge shot, loves throwing the body, and has the ability to get under the other teams skin with his attitude? Sign me up.

It's a widely held belief that if a player has talent, but does not succeed, he/she isn't trying. That simply isn't always the case.

EC has an undeniable amount of talent, but he cannot process the speed of the NHL for whatever reason. He's not loafing and sulking, giving half-hearted shifts.

He should do a lot of things better, but his biggest handicap is not a lack of effort.
