Im not so sure he will come over to NHL next year, he is now one of the biggest star in KHL, and a ''hero'' in his home team Chelyabinsk. He also become a star player for Team Russia in EHT and one of few player who is pretty sure to make Team Russia for WC imo. So i wouldn't be too surprise if he stays in Russia for one or two more years, maybe he join Capitals after Sochi Olympics in two years. If I were Kuznetsov I would not leave KHL in this summer but who knows what he thinks and wants.

Kuznetsov highlights from his young career so far. Amazing how many great moments of play he already have when he only 19 years old.

#Caps prospect Kuznetsov openly said he'd stay in Russia if offered a...10 year deal there (ProSport).

As much as I would like Kuznetsov to play in the KHL, I want him to come to Washington to help Ovechkin, Semin, and company.

He's probably going to dominate the league so easily in like the third year of that deal if he were to sign it, he'd pull a Malkin and just bust a move ...he's just going to regress as a player if he stays there for 10 years...sucks for him, but why not he's never going to get big money in the NHL for a long time, if he ever does , so might as well make the doe. But i think the Olympics will change this kid, he'll see the difference playing against NHL players and the superiority and as an athlete that might spark something in terms of competition and he'll eventually want to come over.

he might be trying to get the max rookie deal from the caps with saying this, his reasoning is that he wants to stay somewhere stable.

if he does sign a 10 year deal tho, what will that spell for russian players in the nhl draft.

I don't think Kuznetsov is going to have much trouble getting a max deal, regardless if he had said this.

Especially if that had been Granlund since he's not so fast a skater.

People keep rushing to announce that he's said what he's going to do, when he keeps not saying what he's going to do.

He'll let everyone know in the offseason. For now, he's coming up with creative ways of putting off the media until another day.

He probably saw the Caps/Canes game last night and decided there's no way he wants to play on that sorry team.

there is nothing more interestning only what I wrote.. google

As it became known Sports.ru, agents forward "Traktor" Eugeny Kuznetsov in talks with "Salavat Yulaev."

In Ufa, Kuznetsov is seen as a possible replacement to Alexander Radulov, who in the summer are likely to leave in the NHL.

Recall that in 2010 a young player in the first round NHL draft by the 26th number chose "Washington."

In the current season Kuznetsov spent for "Traktor" 48 games in which scored 41 (19 22) points. For more hockey statistics can be viewed

Yeah I saw the Tweet about it, not much info given. I hate the guy because of his dominance on Team Russia but hope that he's okay and he recovers fully.
