Please trade Armstrong. Bring up Frattin and we have some valuable cap space to play with before the deadline.

I would be happier if we dumped armstrongs salary than if we traded for nash

saw this last night on twitter before I went to bed... would love to move Armstrong... he's barely played for us and hasn't fit in when he has... just not really working in Toronto

we'll take a 2nd rounder please.

Army is a step behind right now. Give him time and he will get back to speed. Great player who just needs time to get back into the groove.

Not sure why win wants him back at that cap hit after letting him walk.. Obviously could have been at strings decisikn

Similar to how Versteeg was.

Not that he's terrible, but he's a little overpaid and just doesn't seem to fit with the team

Yes Winnipeg! You need Armstrong! He's got good arms and he's strong. I hope Eklund is right on this one..

He was great last year and then injuries came along and now he just sucks .

Armstrong for almost anything. .

Armstrong may be overpaid, but hes had a injury plagued season and deserves some slack for that. Plus - many leaf fans don't realize how great of a locker room presence he has, you need those kind of guys to attract players, keep optimism high and maximize on ice performance from everyone.

Don't buy the Armstrong rumor at all. Guy wouldn't be much help to the Jets anyways. What has he played, less than 20 games this year? Seems like an injury prone vet to me. Definitely not for a 2nd.

I'd rather make the Caps a good offer for Chimera.

Man, that would really kill the room in Winnipeg. It doesn't look like Armstrong's former teammates think very highly of him judging from past games. Glad Eklund predicted this so the Jets don't end up with him somehow.

Yeah, after being great last year, Army hasn't found his old stride - I'd be content to see him go.

Wait, aren't these two teams fighting for the same playoff spot?

Brassard I could see (and would like a lot, actually) but not Armstrong - at least not at the deadline.

I would be very surprised to see Brassard moved at this point. Unless another top 6 center is coming back he isn't likely to be moved. Once Pahlsson is moved that begins to thin the center ranks on the CBJ. Although Vermette was primarily playing wing he would have been moved to center before a player like Umberger. We now have Letestu playing 2nd line center going forward.
