Not an MCL or ACL, luckily.
Slava Malamud @SlavaMalamud
Kuznetsov's agent tells Sport-Express the diagnosis is a severe bruise of soft tissues. May miss three weeks. #Caps

Nobody seemed in any hurry to go see what was wrong with him...guess they didn't think it was serious. Then they practically toss him on to the stretcher. I hope he enjoys his long career in the KHL with such top notch medical care.

he will be fine
http://hctraktor.org/main/news/?id=6473 expected in the lineup by 1st of March...
some people just can't help it...have to kick KHL every time opportunity presents itself
...so the play continued...I have see this crap numerous times in NHL...should we bring the Crosby topic and the amazing medical care that failed to diagnose concussion which led him to miss entire season...

Diagnosis sounds very wrong to me.
I saw it live and the first thing that popped in my head is meniscus. The amount of pain he looked to be in has to be a meniscus tear.

No offense but did he really have to act like if he got shot with an RPG in the knee cap and leave on a "stretcher"?

Sometimes even minor injuries can be extremely painful initially.

seems really strange to me that he would be laying on the ground and in that much agony over a bruise. i bet the caps wish they had their doctors in russia to take a look.

cap HAS NO right to take care about his health. He is under contract with Traktor. Caps drafted him? Who cares? It is their problem. Until he is free agent/signed by caps, caps HAS NO right to care about him. You should forget that all (un)drafted are your property

These guys are losers. They don't realize that Kuznetsov over embellishes an injury every other game. I've seen him look like that (okay, maybe not to that extent) and play the next shift. I think he is a great player but he definitely needs to work on his level of diving. He needs to realize that he is a hockey player -not an actor.

Lol, sounds like he doesn't trust the Russian doctors. That wouldn't happen in the NHL, he would have received first class medical care right away.

Best sports doctors in all sports are in Germany. I know that our injured football players from Dynamo Kiev are regularly getting treatment in German facilities with German doctors.
Is it your smartass attempt to hate on Russia? Pretty lame.
How is that Crosby neck injury and super-duper North American doctors that failed to diagnoze it out for more than a year working for ya?

Does anyone know what Kuzy's status is? Seems to be a lot of conflicting reports of there. Any info would be great, thanks!
P.S.- this pissing match over Crosby/ Russian healthcare is classless, everyone makes mistakes, now move on.
