You never know with Sather, watch out Feaster here he comes!

''Sather: Hey Jay how about you give us Iginla, I give u some decent players and I'll teach you how to smoke a cigar like a boss! What do you say?

Feaster: Are you serious?! Where do I sign?!''

All jokes aside Sather is really good at trades but I don't see him prying a player like Iginla from Calgary for nothing other than a overpayment.

Maybe Dubinsky + would get Feaster to stay on the line for a second or two. I wouldn't want to trade a 25 year old good player for a great 34 year old though... Well maybe in this case, I dunno

Passing isn't a commitment to team play unless you're a 7 year old novice superstar. Buying into the system and leading by example is. Iginla does neither anymore.

Whoa lets not get carried away! I know he's a great player and your best player but come on. He's 34 years old. Couture is a future superstar, he's almost there now.

For a guy who can skate he sure gets roasted a lot. RR rarely got beat and made us a tough team to play against. We have lots of guys who can do what Butler does and RR skates a lot better than Sarich.

He got called out and has answered, and has been much better since then, also he has never had an offensive coach which is the style he likes to play this is Sutter's fault not his for not putting him in a system to succeed. Iggy has been blocking shots and is trusted late in games to play defensive clearly Sutter thinks he is buying much more than you.

It doesn't matter we need young forwards they have none except for Couture or Pavelski so we would need one of them.

I beg to differ. Robyn played for team Canada, Butler didn't even play in a lot of games for a very average defense in Buffalo. JBo constantly covers Butlers mistakes. That was a 7 million dollar cap dump to have a shot at Richards, not a hockey trade.

Who are we supposed to match up late in games? Rookies, Cammalieri or 4th liners? Iggy is out in defensive situations because he plays with OJ and Glencross, not because he's a good defensive player.

Great? He was awesome when he was here but Butler is now as useful as he is also he is old we have enough of those. Dan Boyle was never drafted so he isn't good or does it matter what the player can do now not in the past.

Okay, forget the top prospect. Couture and a first round pick!

Can you include a time machine? We'll use it to get the Iginla from a few years back not this soon-to-be 35 year old?

Between your views on Butler and Iggy I think you are delusional.

All bluster. The Flames are what? 1 or 2 points out of a playoff spot and they're just now getting Glencross and Smith back? They're not going to sell any important pieces.

Sounds like you're stuck on Iginla's previous years when he wasn't +33 years old. Like I mean would you trade Derek Stepan, Claude Giroux etc for Jaromir Jagr at his age? No you wouldn't.

Iginla is an icon and your franchise player, therefore he's not getting moved. He'll most likely retire as a flame just like Hejduk will retire as a Colorado player.

Tied actually. They might sell if someone gets desperate and overpays. Feaster would be crazy not to.

Clowe is 29 how does this help our rebuild at all?

Demers does nothing for us he is a bottom pairing defense men we can get those in free agency.
