That's quite a bit for Zidlicky.
Wow, I wonder what we could get for White!

Seto will be the next grumpy player on the Wild. Don't like your team? Grow an attitude.

Seems like that sort of thing is prevalent this season

They got that much for an under performing, disgruntled Zidlicky? Wow.

That would have been a big risk given Mitchells recent history

The new contract is an over-35 contract. The Kings are on the hook for the cap hit in the second year come hell or high water.

CC,
Fehr is not allowing contract renegotiation. If the league brings it up, you would be looking at another lockout. Increased mobility for players and uncertainty of compensation are about as acceptable to the PA as a pit of vipers.

Hemsky has a higher PPG than Rick Nash (since the lockout). It's really not crazy at all. Hemsky should have at least got more years (security), since he gets hurt so often.

I love how jumpy everyone is, it'll be funny if and when Nash is still a Jacket after the deadline. Then we can look forward to more of the before the draft.

I agree.

Darren Dreger ‏ @DarrenDreger

Summer option for Nash trade only makes sense if players list of teams he's willing to go to grows. It won't. Might shrink. #TradeCentre

I don't think that's necessarily true. While demand for Nash would decrease over the summer if his list shrinks, demand would also increase because teams have more cap flexibility. For example, if a team like the sharks wants to add Nash, it would be easier to do in the off season rather than now. I think these two effects might be a wash.

Im against Nash coming to SJ, but I do know one thing....DW is great at negotiating deals. He knows how to wear people down by waiting things down. So I actually think the closer to the TDL, the better deal DW gets for Nash

I am not quite sure as to how DW negotiates deals but it would make sense if he has offers in with 2-3 different GM's and just playing a waiting game till Monday afternoon.

65 hours to go .. lets do this DW!!

No, if his list shrinks, the remaining teams have more leverage, therefore resulting in less in return for nash to columbus, because they know they cant look elsewhere for a deal.

Think Heatley, and how little he returned for ottawa because his list was so small, therefore we had tons of leverage.
