Yeah..cause it's not on the guys who made awful pinches that cost us goals..

Lets blame Cole for his penalty, Eller for all his flubbing of shots, Kostitsyn and Plekanec for their compete levels, etc. The fact is, it was a team loss.

I agree completely, but even in bad games when you have chances like desharnais and subban had you burry it. You're in nhl for gods sake playing on the first wave of a pp and 20+ minutes.

Yeah? Well, a better example is Price. He's more likely to become a franchise player than Leblanc.

Subban is shooting from the point with traffic in front..he had several shots deflected or blocked. Sometimes the dice rolls that way. He has been hitting the net a lot lately.

it's not what you're saying, it's how you're justifying it.

eller may in fact not be in the answer. but you can't just pro-rate a ****in rookie-sophomore's stats to definitavely say ANYTHING about their career. most people agree he can be a great 3rd liner and handle some 2b duties. we don't know for sure. but we at least know we can't just refer to stats. the games happens on the ice.

and stats don't lie, but anyone can manipulate virtually any stats to defend an image they want to sell. stats are only true when taking what happens on the ice, and combining them for a clear picture.

anyway i won't allow myself to type another line. i realize i'm trying to rationalize with Young Gun here...so that's hopeless but i tried.

All i was saying here is, our changes of scoring with eller on the ice is no better than having darche on the pp
Why did we take eller anyway, we traded away a better player then him, a guy that would of put us in the playoff , a go to guy!!!!!!!

Hell i can't skate put me on ice for 11 minutes i'm sure i don't finish the game in the -3 playing with nhl players.

on one side we say "tank" on the other side we say "players play without passion"

well, maybe they also decided that if they want future success, Yakupov or Grigorenko are the best answer.

I'm joking of course.
