I agree.

You know who I'd like to see in a shootout. Del Zotto. Kid has offensive instinct and legitimate offensive talent.

Marty since Kovalchuk schooled him has had serious 5-hole problems.

I'll take a point out of that performance, if the Rangers can get 2 in Buffalo tomorrow I'd say this is a successful weekend.

The love affair with Mitchell needs to end

way too many other better choice than john mitchell...what is going on in torts head, first he starts biron over lundqvist in big game against a division rival!!! and then brad richards and john mitchell for the shootout...dubi would have been a better choice or heck mdz....thats awful coaching tonight....terrible playing by the team as well...

They better not give up Kreider in a Nash deal...but they could really use the guy, Rangers scoring is pathetic, three goals in this game notwithstanding.

More faith in Iran saying the truth about their nuclear programme than Biron at the moment. He wasn't brutal, but he's just so exposed the last couple of games.

Sniper move by Johnny Malkin... guess he misses Hartford.

I'm not sure if Torts just doesn't know his players well enough or if he's just too stubborn to try new players

Shootouts and Marty Biron = two things I am not worried about with this team heading into the playoffs.

You can fit Rick Nash's face through Biron's 5-hole.

In brighter news, Gaborik has really stepped up this year in the shootout. An area that wasn't a strength of his before. 4-for-6. That's reliable.

Defense didn't show up until it was too late. Marty sucked and we blow at the shootout. Send Bickel and Mitchell to the AHL please, and get Nash.

Garbage defense and streaky power play I am worried about in the playoffs, though...

Yes Torts! Keep benching Zuccs and Wolski for Mitchell! It's clearly working!

No we don't have offensive talent, creativity, finishing ability, etc on this team! What part of that don't some of the posters on this forum understand?
