At this point our chances are so unrealistic of making the playoffs and there's no point seeing as we don't have a team made to win the cup. Draft high and come back next year with a better team.

This is my luck my friend had tickets for the Remparts last night. And I saw something pretty great, Grigorenko putting three nets and one pass. His first goal was an absolutly sick shot. I said to my friend, "who is that #25 guy? that was incredible". he said "i'm not sure who he is".

Gainey?

He had a plan and a direction and look where it got us. Maybe we need someone with a WINNING plan.

Emelin had a nice pass and Bourque scored, which is always good.

Err, well, our cupboards are relatively full again with decent young players which wasn't the case before Gainey so I would say he took us quite a ways forward. Just wasn't a large enough step forward but a huge step forward in respectability anyhow.

Story of this season. Us Habs fans trying to find any positive in a loss - in this case, the lone goal that the Habs scored on Neuvirth, something that hasn't happened a whole lot this season.

Lol, I'm not sure if I should thank you or not. I usually take a look at all the team boards on here and to be truthful, we're all the same. Every team has their good and bad posters towards other teams. Our teams are fierce rivalries, one of the best in all sports so on both sides, it's probably worse than most other team boards.

But as for this board and Bruin's board, it's no different. Some of us try to be respectful while other's are downright rude.

Take care and all the best!!

First off, that wasn't Gainey. that was Timmins.

And second off, Gainey did his utmost to deplete that cupboard: Ribeiro for nothing, Higgins, McDonagh & Valentanko for a make believe NHLer, a 1st round pick for 1 year of Tanguay, he was in on the decision that sent Sergei, D'ago, Lats Lapierre away for nothing or next to nothing. Add to that tha fact we owe Bettman a big big favor for nixing what would have been a monstrously terrible trade with Tampa Bay: Lacavalier for Higgins, Pleks, Subban and another player I forget.

And what does he have to counterbalance that: the Rivet trade. Well, even a broken clock is right twice a day and gainey is still trailing behind that broken clock.

Last game of the season is against the Leafs. Hope it's us that delivers that last nail in their coffin. That would be next to winning the cup and draft Grigorenko to boot.
But the Leafs have been sucking so bad as of late i'm afraid by the time that last game come they will have long fallen out of the playoff run so we won't have that privilege.

No doubt all UFAs should be on the block. Gomez and Kaberle should be traded if possible to free up cap space to sign UFA in the summer.

If they can get rid of Gomez and Kaberle they have the money for a Weber, Suter, or Parise.

we were close to being close to maybe have a chance of being close to a playoff spot.

It gets to the point I don't care if they win, and when they lose, I don't hate the fact we will get a great draft pick.

And I'm one crazy mother****er of a positive fan when it comes to my habs. My brain is habs mode 24/7. Even in the summer...

But I missed the game yesterday and I couldn't care less. It's baaaaad.
