I don't expect us to win this game but it will be interesting to see how we compete and mentally how far we think we are from Boston - will we be standing around and watching the Stanley Cup champs or will be draw a line in the sand and challenge a physically bigger and more skilled team at their own game - gonna be interesting to watch.

To make up for my lacklustre GDT for this point, I can tell you that Auld is starting.

While it's hard to think of it as an easy loss due to the Sens awesome play of late, they are going to be in tough, that's for sure.
In the past, it seems like Thomas almost always has had our number (no confirmation on Thomas starting), and with Auld starting I just don't see him being able to steal the show.
If the boys can manage a win, that has got to shoot our confidence through the roof.

Well, let's put it this way.
We don't win against Boston with Anderson.
So, really, there can't be that much disappointment if we don't win against Boston with Auld.

Yeah, Thomas always kills us... but since our last game Boston hasn't been that good.
They were shutout by Buffalo, Minnesota, Carolina and Rangers in February. Have just 2 regulation wins in 11 games during that period.

Senators are 11-0-1 with Lee in the lineup.
Playing the Bruins with Auld in net? Lets play Carkner!

Dissapointing... A young player is building confidence, playing well, team is winning with him in the lineup... Lets scratch him!! That will do wonders for him... Lee is our most physical dman so lets scratch him for a pylon who cant skate or pass...
Solid strategy

I am a big Carkner supporter but I don't see any purpose in putting him in over Lee. Lee has been pretty good for the games he played.
Albeit I have a good feeling about tonight's game. I think we pull out a close win tonight.

Carkner is in to keep the Bruins thinking about life vs. death if they run our players. And they would too.

I concur. Haven't been a big Auld fan this season but I'll hope for the best.

Team obviously has no interest in winning. Cool beans, glad I'll miss this one.
