Dude. It's the Bruins.

They aren't going to be intimidated by a guy that can't skate, stickhandle or pass.

Carkner doesnt intimidate Chara, Lucic, or Thornton...

He is going to go into piles and make his dumb faces while having chats with the Brad Marchands of the world and doing his patented head fakes that fool nobody while skating slowly back for pucks...

I don't mind Carkner playing against the Bruins but he should sit vs the isles on Sunday no question.

Ya...it'll be a good metric to see where we are as a team. Boston could very well be our first round opponent. Yikes.

This. And I have no doubt Carkner would kill Thornton or Lucic..... Chara though...
Bottom line, we need toughness against the Bruins...We don't want their goons running God and Jesus all night.

In that case, I'm guessing Carks is needed to beat up Lucic/Thornton... Any word on Konopka as well then?

No point saying Go Sens... Easy Loss for us... Would be a miracle if we won though... Boost this teams confidence by a mile..

Doesn't Auld have a career 4-2 record against the Bruins or something like that?

Let's go Sens! All in!

And a 3-0 record on home ice vs. them. Make it 4-0 tonight!

Off topic but - Is it possible to get a custom jersey at SBP? I'm attending both games this weekend and I want to get a Spezza jersey

Cheers

We all just got to relax here. The sky is not falling. Auld will not cost us this game. I bet you see an Auld that weve not yet seen. He looked good against Nashville. With the dark hours of his career coming here, he is going to come out with his best. I have full faith in Auld tonight. Will we win? maybe not, but we wont be losing because of Auld, that much I do know.

Why so angry with Carkner going in over Lee here? Carkner is perfect for tonights role. Lee will be back in tomorrow. Who will be perfect fit for that game. Kudos to Maclean. Thankfully hes coach and not some of you wingnut fanboys/girls around here. Geesh.

GO SENS!

Carkner doesn't fight anymore though. He's a pylon.

Yes.

Player jerseys (ie: Karlsson, Spezza, Alfie, etc...) are avail at the Sens Store.

If you want your own name on the back of the jersey, it's avail at a jersey "kiosk" on the 100 level just outside the Sens Store, section 119.

Carkner is in to hopefully protect Karlsson from getting cheap shotted by Marchand. This is the only reason I could come up with for this.

Marchand has done plenty of cheap shotting in his day and Carkner wont stop him from doing it...

Not understanding switching up Lee and Carkner when you're throwing a new goalie in to the wolves.

Bizarre.

Boston is the toughest team in the league, one of the only teams left with a true heavyweight or two. It makes sense to have him in, especially without Konopka.
