The thing that bother me about dealing JT Miller is that from all I've read about him he seems to be the perfect Dubinsky replacement. I'd hate to lose both of them at the same time.
Miller is a very strong, powerful skater and he uses his speed to help him both
offensively and defensively. He’s an extremely hard worker and has the ability to get
to loose pucks as well as separate the puck from the carrier seemingly at will. Miller
has good balance and is strong on the puck when he has it and battles hard when
he doesn’t. He’s good along the boards and gets out of battles with the puck. Miller
handles the puck well and uses his balance and strength to protect the puck until he
makes a play.
I remember the time when Dubinsky was untouchable around here. We had a discussion at one point who would be the next captain for NYR. Captain Dubi or Captain Cally? Now this guy is as good as gone. Time changes like crazy.
Not to mention, this probably is taking a toll on the players, they might not admit it, bit it's gotta be a distraction...Just want it over with, this ***** is ruining my weekend and my bp has to be through the roof....
this deal could go down during the game and if it is nash going to the rangers and only one roster player they could be pulled out midway thru the game....just saying
Sure, but why wouldn't Sather just wait until after the game rather than put his team at a disadvantage by pulling Dubinsky or whoever while it is in progress? I guess it prevents injury from derailing things...but still.
On that note, I was thinking how odd it would be if we traded for Nash during the game against Columbus a few days ago...could he put on a Rangers jersey and start skating the other way? lol
