Nope but thanks, cross referenced it with NHL.com and it's the same I didn't it immediately at the start of the third I have him at 2:05 total so the other 2:25 could have been before that. Just realized I was late to check it, didn't check it until everyone wondered if he'd played at all.

On the main boards someone said on CBC Hot Stove that Howson told Nash that he likely won't be moved before the deadline. The Jackets have a set price and they're not willing to budge off of it.

Big mistake on their part but oh well, at least we can move on.

If that's true, **** them and I hope they get nothing for Nash and continue to fail as an organization. Run by ****ing apes.

I don't think he's not gonna trade him. I think he's trying to up the offer. These will be his best offers.

At this point I really don't care anymore. I've wanted Nash all along for the right price but I hope CBJ screws this up and it comes back to bite them in the ***.

This is Howson countering the statement from Resnick today. Negotiation tactic.

Key words are "unless an offer blows them away". That's not putting an end to anything. It's an asterisk.

I think there will be a lot of this going back and forth "Nash will get dealt before the deadline", "Nash won't get dealt before the deadline", over the coarse of the entire day tomorrow.

Howson is damned if he does and damned if he doesn't.

People will criticize him if he doesn't trade Nash, but he will get trashed if he makes a trade and doesn't hit out one of the park. Doug MacLean mentioned that Howson wants a cornerstone piece to build around, which is hard to acquire for a superstar player as it is and Nash's cap hit makes it even more difficult. Howson probably misjudged the market for Nash and never should have put him on the market in the first place. Regardless of what happens, he will probably be fired in the offseason.

Probably because Howson has dragged this out for so long, he should have closed the deal quickly or waited a little longer before he announced Nash was available.

This whole ordeal has been such a roller coaster ride every couple of hours or so it's "oh, he's definitely going to NY" then "Nah, he's staying in Columbus". I honestly cannot wait for this trade deadline to be done with. It's incredibly frustrating as a fan I can't imagine how it's been for the players.

That would be the wrong approach for the future of that organization. That's letting every possible future player know what kind of clowns are running the show...

1. They wouldn't be paying Nash anything in a move.

2. They are running a sinking ship and throwing out life preserves, that is except to their franchise player, they've gotta drag him down with the rest.

That's not the type of business to run if you want to attract future UFA.. It's done Howsen, move the guy instead of making him suffer the same fate that awaits you ahole..You should be grateful you're getting anything in return...

So have we heard what this conference call with the league the Rangers are suppose to have after the game tonight? I've been out for most of the night.

Glen Healy on Hot Stove summed it up as "Columbus trying to make up for 10 years of bad drafting in one trade"
