Voynov truly a more than capable replacement for Johnson. I hope he never again gets sent down.
Agreed about Voynov. He played extremely well tonight. Him and AMart looks like a solid pair on the PP.

Nice to play a team as dead as we usually are!

I am so glad Voynov was not involved in the Carter deal...I was worrying that the Jackets were going to get Bernier AND Voynov for Carter. JJ and a #1 were MUCH less to give up.

I had read that Howson wanted Toffoli and Voynov, Plus... and DL managed to keep 3 of our best young assets: Bernier, Voynov and Toffoli.

I think within a year, Voynov may be our best defenseman. He's that good.

I think that was Stoll's best game of the season. Looked like he did pretty well on the face off circle.

Games like tonight are the reason why Brown is the captain of this team. Kings are in an offensive funk and make a big deal to add some life and Brown scores 3 goals and assists on another. That's what a captain does.

Best team game in years. Love it. Go to the net and good things will happen. Love Voynov's game tonight. Stoll and even Penner looked good.

other then Kopitar still looking a little off, it was great.

...which is what management had in mind all along.

Do you ever REALLY think Brown was being dangled in a serious way?

I guarantee Brown is available every day of the week for certain players.

The difference is, this is the time of year you can make a rouse out of it and whip someone's ass into shape.

Carter is probably going "What offensive struggles?". Oh, and no Jack Johnson goals against replays tonight. The Minus Man has left the building!

I thought he looked good; was driving to the net, was shooting with some authority, but just wasn't really able to get into a groove. The game dynamics kind of change once you have a big lead.

I thought this was a nice quote by Brown. Hopefully this game silences all the trade rumors.

BROWN: Ive been a King my whole career and I expect to be a King beyond the next few days. Its my responsibility to prepare myself the best I can and tonight felt good.

While watching the goal explosion tonight, part of me thought trading Jack broke the curse.

Getting smashed in the face like he did probably had some effect also.

I gotta say again how much I love Voynov. I know he's gonna have some shaky games, but the guy is poised out there for a rookie.

Also Martinez looked a lot better tonight, maybe knowing he's got a spot will make him not press as much and he can just play like he did early in the season.

It was the best kings hockey game ive seen since the first week of the season.

The fact that Kopitar attempted to drive the net,

Brown had a firecracker up his clacker,

and we have a new winger makes me very excited. I love how Carter just shoots, he doesnt hit, but he strips the puck and flicks it at goal.

I like the idea of our 4th line.

I like Stoll when he isnt playing like a tit on a bull
