I wouldn't go as far as saying never. He may stay another full season but I wouldn't be shocked if he was moved for simple cap reasons. They have a lot of long term big contracts, they need to keep some depth players, they also have numerous young talents on rookie deals due for raise in addition Quick's 1.8 mill contract ends after next season. Plus Brown will likely want a raise himself something they won't be able to afford.

Penner, Stoll, Parse are UFAs - that's $10mio comming off the books this offseason.

I was saying they can keep Brown at least another full season (next season). After that though the cap situation gets sticky due to Quick's contract ending and a few highly touted prospects rookie deals ending. If they want they can probably find a way to keep Brown but it would likely push someone else out the door. Then of course after that season if they do keep him can they afford to give him a raise if he is still playing well.

I am just saying that it is a stretch to say Brown will "never" leave the Kings.
