I'm going to have to disagree with you there. The world of hockey is not ready for Sean Avery and Enver Lisin to be on the same line. If that were to happen, the rest of the league might as well just pack it up and go home.

I won't lie, when I first started to respond to your dislike of Gaborik I thought you were hating on him because you were xenophobic (the fact that you love Kovy dispelled that) or you just had unrealistic expectations of him.

However as you've mentioned his body stiffness and lack of dexterity, I've made a point of it to pay attention to it and I agree with your view on it. The man is stiff, he does lack dexterity. Many of your other qualms about him, albeit I feel exaggerated, are still true.

However, for me personally, at the end of the day Gaborik still produces well and he is efficient at it. He doesn't need a dozen chances to score or to make a good accurate pass. While he can't create offense for himself on a consistent basis, he can usually finish the opportunities that he has.

Gabby with # 27.

I expect 40-45 goals this season.

I'm his biggest fan, but if he hits 40 I'll be shocked. This team just doesn't have the offensive firepower.

He won't hit 50 but he'll hit 40+.

Just can't see him not having a few hat tricks.

The last few games, Gaborik's shot doesn't seem to have the same bite to it that it normally has. Like something's slightly off, and he's just putting it into the goalie's chest, or choosing to go to the backhand instead of firing it like he normally does.

He was all over the place tonight. Really could of had one. As long as he moves his feet, good things will keep happening.

Two against Boston would be verrrry niiiice.

Thank you sir. I can understand someone saying that his production is so valuable that he justifies most of the praise he gets. But I can't understand someone who is blind to the type of player he is and the weaknesses that he inherently has.

Having said that, when he isn't getting bottled up and he is on a line that is clicking he actually is a lot of fun to watch.

Yeah, Gabby's been playing so good even his dumb dekes he tries sometimes have been real high quality chances. Crazy he hasn't scored on one yet.

don't think Gabby gets 40 this year.

I think he gets to 36, maybe 37

I'm sticking with my original prediction back in July which was 39 goals.
