2. The greater number of games won, excluding games won in the shootout.
3. The greater number of points earned in games between the tied clubs. If two clubs are tied, and have not played an equal number of home games against each other, points earned in the first game played in the city that had the extra game shall not be included. If more than two clubs are tied, the higher percentage of available points earned in games among those clubs, and not including any "odd" games, shall be used to determine the standing.
4. The greater differential between goals for and against for the entire regular season.

It's a new season with 2 different teams. Keep playing with the same effort that's magically appeared these last 3 games and it'll be competitive. Go Stars.

yeah believe it or not teams that are much worse than us have beaten Vancouver this year. If they bring their best game we probably don't have much of a chance, but anything less than that and the result is up in the air.

a big game by Lehtonen will help. COME ON STARS!

Kari is gonna have to play 10 times as good as he has against the Canucks so far in his career.

Can beat em. Just gotta believe you can. Fully believe they didn't think they could last season.

I really want them to win, I'm so tired of them losing to the Canucks...

Canucks lineup barring any trades will look like:

D. Sedin - H. Sedin - Burrows
Raymond - Kesler - Booth
Higgins- Hodgson - Hansen
Bitz - Malhotra - Lapierre

Hamhuis - Bieksa
Edler - Salo (Alberts here if Salo sits)
Rome - Tanev

Look for Luongo to start. The Canucks play their 5th game in 7 days and looked tired against the Devils, I doubt we'll see a repeat of games of last season.
If we get a lead early look for us to shut it down in the third.

Good luck tomorrow, I love waking up making som eggs and bacon and watching hockey.

If we can either win both home games v vancouver or find a way to get 3, 4 or 5 of the 8 pts in the up coming series against Van (min 3), then i don't think our schedule is as bad as people are mentioning.

looking at the chart on remaining games i think we have the same difficulty in our schedule as calgary, LA, and the avs.

http://www.nhl.com/ice/standings.htm...12012&type=PLA

IF we can do like I mentioned and find points against the nucks and win the series vs Calgary We are a huge chance to make it.

If were good enough we win the games we have to, to be a playoff team.

Starts today.

It's going to be a close, low-scoring game. Stars win 2-1 in shootout.

Goals: Daley, Ryder (SO). Kesler for Canucks.

It's actually our 6th game in 9 days, so it's pretty much even in terms of games played over days.

Hard to really figure out with all the injuries.

Eriksson - Ribeiro - Ryder
Nystrom - Fiddler - Dvorak
Ott - Wandell - Burish
Vincour - Petersen - Garbutt

Daley - Fistric
Robidas - Souray (ew)
Goligoski - Larsen

Lehtonen
Bachman

1 true top 6 line. 2 4th lines. And our defensive pairs got screwed with again. Looks awful right now IYAM.
