yeah that's a different issue altogether. want ontario players to play for the leafs? tell the NHL to get rid of the draft

Well technically the Leafs could miss the playoffs again, because of the job he has been doing.

Past tense not future tense issue here.

oiler fan here in peace, that first goal was brutal, but it wasn't just on Reimer Phanuef stood there and watched that guy skate around the net and stuff it home didn't make a move towards the side of the net, just a weak flick of his stick, and the schenn giveaway was brutal too. You fans have a real point about Francois Allaire, last year Reimer looked fast and athletic, now he just does that silly kneel and puff yourself up like a lizard thing that doesn't work very well. You guys were looking like a lock for the playoffs till Wilson decided that since Gus was playing well it was time to crap all over his confidence.
Him and Burke need to hit the road no doubt about it. good luck down the stretch.

Phaneuf can be a really lazy ***** sometimes. It was a really weak goal, but if he showed some effort that wrap around doesn't happen. It's plays like this why I cant stand him.

I hate Reimer's stupid smile in all of his post-game interviews.

After a terrible loss, I would like to see a little smidgen of frustration, anger, sadness, etc.

He always has this stupid smile, the kind of permanent grin that potheads have.

**** you Reimer, I want to see you half as upset as most of the fans are.

Yeah I think it's "most of the fans" (e.g. you) who needs to step back

Watching Wilsons press conference from last night, probably pretty clear he knocked on Burkes office door after and asked pretty please for a goalie.

That was Torterella-esque. "A ****ing save from time to time would be nice"

Wilson has lost the room big time.

When he scratched Armstrong AND Komisarek was the moment I thought he was a dead man walking. 2 of your very own alternate captain and they are not even on the ice... what a dumb ass.

Anyway, another lackluster effort. I liked Phaneuf's comments and I hope he kicks some ass in the dressing room.

Phaneuf was as bad or worse than anybody else on the ice, as is often the case. How can somebody who is setting a terrible example on the ice tell anybody else what to do?

It's on both the coach and GM.

It's not all on the coach at all. However it's clear the team needs a change and Wilson isn't the best fit for us right now. Wilson is a great coach. Just not the one for this team.

I never thought I'd see a worse effort out of the Leafs than the one I saw 2 weeks ago against the Habs. I was wrong. This is embarrassing.
True enough. Can't believe the effort in a must win

we all seen this coming, the leafs were on a downward trend with a bit of luck sprinkled in right from the start.
