Vandermeer wasnt hanging on for dear life, he was actually ducking Scotts rights and staying in tight. It was smart fighting from Vandermeer who was fighting a guy thats 8 inches taller and 50 pounds heavier.
You can argue that Vandermeer may not have won but neither did Scott, and to say Vandermeer was hanging on for dear life is a joke, take of the homer glasses
