Did anyone see the Hossa fight?

It was pretty awesome. He actually got some nice shots in.

I never thought I would see the day...

No, I want to.

It's not in the NHL.com highlight package

Hossa fought Lecavalier in his first season. Both traded some decent shots for non fighters.

Hossa ground Oleg into dust. Three punches and he threw him into the crease. If it hadn't been a knock-down there would have been serious blood.

The boy is darn strong. It's a good thing he doesn't have Tucker's fire.

BTW, there was a point late in the game when ATL was stinking out the joint that Hossa skated at angry blazing speed straight up the middle end to end through all of the Hurricanes with no moves, just pure strength. I have never seen him skate so hard. It was beautiful. He almost made it if Ward didn't have the right take on it.

MARIAN!!!

I miss him still, lol. Hm... both my favorite players got into their first fights this year. Volchenkov and Hossa.

That was good even though it was very short. He landed 3 pretty good punches.

Yeah that was the business for sure.

He looked really mad, and fed that guy some serious shots.

Go Hoss!

Coupla nice crosschecks to start the fight, too.

It's nice to see guys show emotions and stand up for themselves/the team, though.

Hope he doesn't do that to one of our Sens players on Feb. 9th (I'll be there by the way).

Did you see Bonk last night with Schaefer, what an a$$.

Just beautiful. I didn't expect to see a headline like that. Too bad this evidene wasn't around in The Great Heatley Vs. Hossa debate of '05.

Seriously though, its hard to fathom how good Ottawa would be with Hossa still on the team.

Heatley + Weight (or other deadline deal equivalent) >>> Hossa for the playoffs

Also, Heatley @ $4 Mil >>>> Hossa @ $6 Mil (and I'm the biggest Hossa fan that there ever was).

We'd have Hossa playing on one line, Alfredsson on another and Havlat stuck on the 3rd (yes, I know he's injured).

We'd be no better than we are now. Hossa may be the more talented individual player, but I think Heatley is a better fit for this team, especially since he plays the LW.

But hey, Heatley and Redden >>>>> Hossa

It's too bad really, about his contract situation. I loved the guy. Maybe he'll come back in three years after his contract is up and sign for less to get a cup.

>_>

We can hope right?
