No, how about we bet that he's NOT signing for $5.5 per as you've previously contested he would.
George McPhee....The Teflon GM. 15 years of failure and counting....
6 - Number of playoff series the Capitals have won since George McPhee took over as General Manager in 1997 (which makes him the third-longest-tenured GM in the League), three of which came in McPhee's first season on the job.
Nobody is discounting Semin's importance in a last ditch run to the playoffs. This is what his fans can't seem to understand. Most of his critics (like me) can easily appreciate his skills and hot streaks but can also see that it's not enough for just shy of $7 mil a season. I want more on and off the ice for that price.
if thats the case than ovechkin, laich and green should be shipped out first
You know better than what, exactly? That's the thread you're talking about where we discussed it before, I clearly said "term", you clearly just said I never discussed term before and it's literally right there.
LOL...I see no mention of Term, and I see you in one sentence say "get him a center and he'll sign for 5.25".
Then you go on to say in the same post mind you, he's likely to sign at the just shy of $7 mil price again.
Ride the fence much? I say again....your $5.25 per idea.....bwahahahahahaha....
What the ****?
He's not getting 7 mil. From anyone, even as a UFA although GMGM makes me nervous with how he tends to overpay.
Honestly, give the guy a ****ing center and I bet he'd sign for 5.25 for term.
Most likely scenario: GMGM signs him for 6.7 again, more than anyone would offer for another 1 year deal because he is incapable of picking a direction. Still no center. 2nd most likely: he walks for nothing cause GMGM is a moron.
