ian_mendes37 secs Lehner on Bishop trade: "It's great. They've been talking for a long time about getting depth in the organization."

It wasn't that bad, Foligno back in the top 6 payed dividends.

Lolz what?

Nick "Hogman" Foligno? He's fringe top 6 and he never played on our top 6 tonight...

I am upset with the lines McLean ran tonight. Michalek does not belong on Spezza's line, he needs to be the third man in "The Ugly Triumvirate" of Michalek - O'Brien - Foligno.

Well lets hope that Boston stays classy and goes after Turris instead of trying to run Karlsson or Spezza. Me thinks Marchand will drop the gloves, that would seem fair.

Either way, there was a bit of point production for him, as well as Turris. Whether or not he is top 6, we need goals right now and if he is assisting on them, I'm all for that.

Yes, but put Konopka in for one of the bottom six if we want toughness.

I say roll with the current lineup vs Boston on Tuesday. We need to get them to play our game and not the other way around

I'm I the only that believes that Turris is the last thing on the minds of the Bruins?? I think the Bruins are the ones looking over their shoulders for a MAC truck named Chris Neil.

Nash would have to have a 1st, 2nd, prospect, and young top 6 forward return- sportsnet

I say bench someone not contributing like Greening for Konopka/Carkner so they can fight guys like Thornton/Marchand/Lucic and keep them out the game 5-10min. Those guys can become pesky and really turn momentum into their favour. Having them in the panalty box sucks a lot of life out of their line up.

I would say the B's are more worried about keeping their players away from suspension while they're still fighting for a playoff spot. They're already down Peverley, Krejci and someone else pretty long term. Losing more forwards like Lucic/Marchand will only do them harm and they JUST has a big losing streak. Another one and they can find themselves at 7-8th in the East if we jump past them.

If he is anything like his father, he could be just the kind of person that thrives in situations like these.

My brother knew Michael from his karate days. He was not very young when he started, yet he quickly became a very good fighter. On a trip to Japan it is said he sank the best fighter at a dojo there, and was then challenged by every other fighter

Incredible that it seems he became interested in goaltending only in his 30s, and then went on to have such an impact on both Lundqvist and Robin.

I think Robin did a little more than one can ask for. Ok, so he made some mistakes, but it didn't make him nervous. He'll probably get to play many more matches.

Lehner's save on Moulson (or was it Tavares??) was a huge play in the 2nd. If that goes in, it's a different game.

From our vantage point at the rink, my friend and I were really impressed by the Islanders' breakout and puck support. Tavares is also developing into a very, very good layer. If they get a bit more talent, the Islanders could be a sleeper playoff team next year.

I was in section 101 directly behind him screaming GO LEHNER for the first and third period. He seemed nervous on the first goal but not rattled after also made some pretty sweet saves.
