It isn't even the deadline and people are complaining about the deadline being boring....what?
I'm sure we'll still have a decent amount of trades tomorrow.
I'm sure there will be trades, just none on the NY scale of grandure.. No names in big city lights...Kinda like being tempted to buy 4 new tires when 1 goes flat. But after all is said and done, you just end up plugging the tire with a leak and going on about you business...that kind of deadline.
MSL Would be awesome... but he has a 35+ contract signed till 2014-2015, no thanks.
His contract really doesn't bug me. He's not injury prone and has been xtremely productive. Plus he is so slippery it's incredible..would fit in great. Plus he's in awesome shape. He!ll be fine on that contract.

I dunno we really shouldnt be taking on any Long term money unless they are younger and we can do something with them later. If MSL fades we wont be able to do anything with him people would avoid that contract like the plague.
He will be 40 - 41 by the end... father time cannot be avoided he WILL slow down.
Wonder what Nashville 's plans are regarding Suter, what might it take to get him out of there tomorrow? I know they're in the hunt, but from a business perspective it would be wise to get something for either Suter or Weber before one walks, doubt they make it past the first round, second for sure...They lack offense, why not kick the tires and offer up Dubi, Thomas or Miller, pick..Maybe sub Miller/Thomas with Erixon...?

They are a cup contender they wont be doing anything with him.

They score more than us on average, yet everyone here swears up and down that we're contenders.
