Not sure Pleks will be moved, but possible if there is a major overpayment offered. Also he has a NMC so that means he gets to say if and where he's moved, to a degree anyway. Frankly, I do think if he's moved, the most likely destination is the Rangers. I know this has been mentioned before many times, but honestly, I think Pleks would increase the Rangers chances of winning the Cup almost exponentially and they have the kind of assets that would allow for an over payment. Now, this is just speculation on my part obviously, but a replacement centre who is perhaps slightly (not hugely) below Pleks skill level and adds an element of size and toughness (Dubinsky? Dunno enough about him but he's been mentioned). Then if the Rangers add maybe a D prospect with some size and toughness (McIlrath maybe) and add Kreider and a pick (maybe 2nd round) then it gets pretty tempting. Of course it's overpayment but Pleks would sure improve the Rangers chances at winning the Cup, so they might bite. Dunno.
All I want is a couple deals with us getting a couple decent picks and a couple of decent prospects that I can read up on. Don't get me wrong, just picks are great, but there's just a bit of fun in looking up reports on the prospects we get.
