Yep, the rights to Rads are worth at least a mid first round pick IMO.

A. Kostitsyn's numbers are pretty consistent. About 0.55 pts per game. Down this year but had a better year his first full season. Almost all years he had the same amount of ice time.

Depth scorer for the Predators but not what they need to reach the next level IMO.

Don't believe what you see until it's 100% confirmed. Bourque, rights to Rads, and others have been said to be going back. (Not at all, one or the other)

Even if Radulov doesn't want to come to Nashville (which I don't think is the case), you wait until he's committed to come back to the NHL and then trade him. There would be a huge bidding war for him...

Pierre LeBrun ‏ @Real_ESPNLeBrun
In return for Kostitsyn, Preds deal 2nd rd pick in 2013 plus return the conditional pick they got in Hal GIll trade

Not too shabby at all. No roster player going back the other way. I like it.

Thank god Rads wasn't involved. I was about to throw up considering Montreal is public enemy #1 round where I live.

Getting a big scorer and not giving up a player? I'll take that.

If they can stop acting like Will Ferrell and John C. Reilly in Step Brothers this could be a good thing we've got.

Not bad. Still a risk in hoping that AK will be more of a goal scorer in a new environment. But I'm glad we didn't give up any big piece (Blum, 1st, Radulov, etc).

so we get gill and ak for 2 2nds and geoffrion?

I'll take it. This fixes part of the bottom six problem.

more important, our 2012 first and nash still in play.

This is such a good pickup for the predators...your GM does everything I wish the Sharks GM did...

everyone will trash this (especially on the main board) and you will all get to laugh when you tear through teams in the playoffs...

and imagine if Radulov comes back next year too.....
