Man, we've got scoring depth for sure now.

Well done by Poile. Hat's off to him.

A bit nervous about AK, but if he gives the effort he could be huge for us.
We'll see.

You guys are absolutely killing the deals so far.

2nd rounders most of the time don't even make the NHL, and while Boom Boom is a nice player, he isn't exactly a lock to make the NHL.

I really think AK is going to do well for the Preds. Loving what Poile is doing so far!

I don't see how you are getting screwed. Yes, we are quick to label him as a "pure sniper" that we needed, but that's wishful thinking at this point. We have 7 players with more goals right now. We traded for potential that may or may not happen.

You were going to lose him for nothing in the offseason. I think a 2nd is pretty fair.

There is absolutely no reason we don't get past the 2nd round this year...........

Different teams breed different styles and results. Put him on our team all season and I seriously doubt he's our 8th leading scorer.

Good way to start the day. Not giving up any roster players for this guy is good too.

Any word on how long it will take Andrei to get through customs/work visa approval? Basically, will he play for the Preds tomorrow @ Carolina OR Saturday @ Florida?

Just curious...

I don't think this (or any player) will guarantee us to get past the 2nd round, but it sure won't hurt our chances

Wait he was getting 4th line minutes in Montreal so if he gets top line minutes here his numbers will double right? That was your logic with Lombardi.....

Hab fans are unhappy because 1) they thought AK was resigning since he expessed interest 2) they were expecting a 1st rounder due to it being a sellers market

Hopefully we won't have to find out; Trotz shouldn't even THINK about messing with the top producing line at the moment, where SK is teamed with EEE and the Fisherman. What line does everyone think AK starts????

He's not getting 4th line minutes and he hasn't missed 15 games, so no, that logic doesn't translate.

I agree that he wasn't worth more than what we got but what I mean by getting screwed is that we lose another good player while his value is at an all-time low. We did the same thing with his brother.

Legwands is my guess.

So I talked to the guy from Columbus, he says Nash said he wanted no part of Nashville so the deadline passed.

Still really pleased with this deal. Very surprised and happy about the cost. Keep going DP! We have a couple defensemen to move.
