I don't see how you are getting screwed. Yes, we are quick to label him as a "pure sniper" that we needed, but that's wishful thinking at this point. We have 7 players with more goals right now. We traded for potential that may or may not happen.

Different teams breed different styles and results. Put him on our team all season and I seriously doubt he's our 8th leading scorer.

Wait he was getting 4th line minutes in Montreal so if he gets top line minutes here his numbers will double right? That was your logic with Lombardi.....

Hab fans are unhappy because 1) they thought AK was resigning since he expessed interest 2) they were expecting a 1st rounder due to it being a sellers market

He's not getting 4th line minutes and he hasn't missed 15 games, so no, that logic doesn't translate.

I agree that he wasn't worth more than what we got but what I mean by getting screwed is that we lose another good player while his value is at an all-time low. We did the same thing with his brother.

So I talked to the guy from Columbus, he says Nash said he wanted no part of Nashville so the deadline passed.
Still really pleased with this deal. Very surprised and happy about the cost. Keep going DP! We have a couple defensemen to move.
