again why not just call up ALEX HENRY ?

same reason Habs went to get a back up for Price when Sanford would be just fine .

He was crapping on Budaj all night long. I don't think he was asking Budaj how his family was doing or which restaurant to go eat at in Florida.

Anyway, let's go after Ott now.

Because for the last ****ing time, Alex Henry is not good enough for the NHL.

Even on a tanking team.

Cuz Alex Henry is a Defenceman. We need forwards to actually fight/play gritty too.

Since we're carrying 7 defenceman, why call him up???

Would have preferred picking up Kassian off waivers when they had the chance.

Does Staubitz even play defense anymore? I thought he was converted to forward.

Henry and Sanford are just bad. They aren't NHLers for a reason.

Not that Staubitz is great though..

Im talking about adding a fighter into the line up just as they done TODAY....

Henry would have been no worse an option ,and he played with Subban .

Then I don't get this talk of him taking a spot from "Weber and St-Denis".

You know you're bad when people aren't even sure which position you play.

I seriously can't imagine the Habs playing him as a D-man.

He hasn't played that position for years.

Also I know it would shock all of you but no Habs player stood up for Budaj, they all just stood there while he trolled thier goalie.

Thought I'd put in two cents from a Wild perspective.

He's not much of an NHL player. Doesn't embarass himself but rarely makes any kind of plays. As a fighter, he loses far more than he wins. Not great in that regard either.

Will share a nice story though. At a practice he stuck around for 10-15 minutes afterwards to sign autographs for almost everyone. Signed my kid's cast (broke his finger) and wished him well. Comes across as a very likeable guy and class act.

UFA at the end of the year.

So it's basically the Habs picking up a body to plug in the 4th line for the rest of the year as they hurdle towards a top 3 pick.

Your not seeing Sanford with a 2.58 ga in 30 games in Nhl this year with Blue Jackets.

Your eyes must be bad.

Henry could play NHL on MTL for last part of season ,same way Sanford got a 2.58 gaa right now .

That's probably the best thing I've seen from him on the ice.
