Shame on Oilers for tweeting that before Schultz was informed. Sounds like the team is not handling it too well, but they need to get over it. This proves that nobody is truly safe, and it's a sign to wake the @#$! up!

It'd be funny if Zanon remained while Schultz moved.

For the people asking about Gilbert & Parise being friends.. I don't know for sure but I lived in Bloomington with these guys, They weren't in the same grade in middle school & then Parise left for Shattuck for High School Hockey, Gilbert stayed with us at Jefferson. I'm sure they at least knew each other because of both growing up Bloomington & playing hockey but I can't remember ever hearing too much about them being "friends"

But with that said, I have no idea where else they may have met along the way, Juniors maybe? Also, I didnt move to Bloomington from Apple Valley until 8th grade so they may have been closer before the high school years/ before Parise moved..

Well, thanks for the years of service Schultz. Wasn't having the greatest year and now he can hopefully start over in Eddy.

As for the room, the message it sends is a good one. No one is safe and get with Yeo's program. The fact that the kids continually passed up Schultz says all it needs to say.

Sure, it's a shock I'm sure. But at the end of the day, this is a business.

Cueball on Tradecentre saying Suter and Gilbert are friends and this may be Fletcher posturing for Suter.

If Eklund's blog was a paper medium, it wouldn't be worthy of being my emergency backup butt wiper in the bathroom.

That is what I think of Eklund.

Now, if someone LEGITIMATE has this, I'll believe it.

I wonder who called who.

Scandella - Spurgeon
Brodin - Gilbert
Falk - Prosser
Stoner

Is what we will probably be rolling with next year.

Heard it as well. Interesting but Suter has to get there first and he'll have many suitors.

There were many debates on this forum about Zidlicky vs. Schultz.

I'll let the Wild player's reactions to the trades be the final say.

If there's one thing this past year has shown, Fletcher is certainly not Riser.

Gotta say I'm happy and sad. Sad to see the guy who has been here forever leave.... but happy to finally get rid of some of these guys that haven't made the playoffs in the last four years.

We need a major culture change and Fletch is working on that.

Just think, if we move Zanon today, that's half of our blueline from two games ago that we'll have shipped off.

HALF.

Agreed again. We're on the same page so long as I don't bring up Koivu

The interesting thing is...there will be a leadership vacuum. That can be a good thing. Some players will up there game. Some voices might pop up more. It can be a bad thing too with Koivu being out. But Yeo is good with younger players.
