Mike Zaun said that Jawn Scott was worthless to Chicago.

John Scott is terrible

But in other news I"m not sure why people are flipping out about the Rangers not trading for people. Obviously Rick Nash was out of their price range and everythign else was depth. There was no secondary scoring to be had around here and Kostitsyn really isn't that good so I don't know why people are acting like the Rangers missed out. Do you realize that Dubinsky is outscoring Kostitsyn this year?

And everyone will. Except we'd probably only do it if someone else told us to eat crow instead of you.

I fail to see any difference between Scott and Eminger/Bickle/Woywitka/whoever we could possible throw out there as a 6th/7th defenseman

Dubi needs to step up, and everyone will else will come playoff time. That is what we are going to war with.

The best goalie in the world, and the Rangers FLYING with playoff adrenaline + the grit will hopefully take us where we want to go...

Let's do this...

John Scott is a monster who may be the best fighter in the league and hits like a truck. I like tough guys, but why now?

Ok, no Rick Nash, sure. But how the **** do you get John Scott instead of a Pahlsson, Moen or someone like that?

And when we don't win the cup I want guys like you to realize it's more important to win our WORLD CLASS GOALTENDER and FRANCHISE PLAYER a stanley cup than worry about overrated third liners making 4.2 million a year.

Mistake not going after Kostitsyn? The same guy with 12 goals and 24 points? Really??

People complaining for the sake of complaining.

Didn't blow up the roster or forfeit future draft picks for a high salary-cap 65 point scorer.

I'd rather Ryan or Parise in the offseason.

The "not good enough" roster we have right now is #1 in the East. People are never happy on HF....never.

"mammoth deal" from NYR and Howson still turns us down?
he wanted blantant overpayment for Nash, not a fair deal obviously.
he wanted people looking at that deal calling him brilliant.

but he we did get John Scott, so all is well...

another defenseman.

John Scott! We're a legitimate contender now. This definitely addresses our secondary scoring.
