I wonder what Canucks gave up for Kassian? A 1st? And, I wonder if that is who Montreal was discussing with Buffalo, and not the feared Roy trade that was speculated. I wonder who we were offering if so.
Creasy @The_Creasy
#Habs received an offer of a 5th RD Pick for Chris Campoli this a.m. Gauthier held out, wanted a 3rd or 4th, did not get it. Campoli a Hab.
if this is true
why didnt PG hold out of AK till last minute trying to get the best return he could.
somthing tells me Pg didnt fully want to move campoil
i'm so tilt.. **** this team !!!!! kostitsyn was our most talented foward... for a second round pick.... !!! sign him instead !!!!!!! **** my life.. fire everyone except timmins asap
You're right that TSN have a rep to keep but that doesn't mean IBN/Creasy/HockeyyInsider didn't call the trades first. Eklund was wrong like always but the other three were on the money. Creasy especially impressed me, he called Pahlsson and another trade (I think it was Lee/Gilroy) like hours before TSN did.
IBN is a giant troll who does have connections, his thing with the Rick Nash trade was kinda messed up, I don't understand it... so he loses points in my book.
At the bottom? Darren Dreger. The man is not an analyst, he's not an insider, he's not anything. He's just a boob.
The idea that Thornton was the series changer in the finals is an absolute farce.
Really, I mean come on, how can anybody really believe that.
Ouuuhhh...big bad Thornton came in and the Canucks finally decided to pack it up. Ya, they didn't want to play anymore because Thornton got to play 5-7min a game. Scary stuff.
The Canucks relied on their PP throughout the POs last year, but the Bruins nullified them there. They also had superb goaltending that was recognized by the NHL with the Conn Smythe going to Thomas. But no, it was all about Shawn Thornton!! He's the one that made the series switch side!!
