Big gamble on Vancouver's part to bring in Kassian. Never would've thought they would give up on Hodgson since he was one of their top prospects and was playing fine this year as well.

Campoli and Darche is one thing - although I thought there might be a market, it wouldn't be shocking if no one was interested. Potentially lost 5-7th round picks aren't so upsetting.

What gets me is the Moen situation. Seeing what Gaustad returned, I am absolutely sure we could have gotten at least a 2nd rounder for Moen. He still isn't signed. Is he now going to be signed for whatever he asks for, so the team saves face? 2mil or more per for multiple years? This is a bad deal waiting to happen.

I can't believe we didn't trade Darche for future considerations and Plekanec + a 2nd for the privileged of giving Radulov $7M a year in hopes that's enough to make him sign for a NHL team where he'd be centred by Eller or Gomez.

THE SKY IS FALLING!

Wouldn't it be great if this was PG's final press conference? Searching for a silver lining to this piece of **** day for this piece of **** team.

Overall, I'm ok with how we managed our seller status. Overall we got pretty much what I was expecting. Trading Campolli would have been better but considering how his value looks like it's not something that will keep me awake at night. We didn't do any blockbuster moves, but it's not terribly surprising, especially for a trade deadline situation.

We have bunch for 2nd now, two this year and three in 2013. Timmins must be happy.

It most likely is.

New GM and new coach next year. I have no source but the writing is on the wall

I'm just going to assume that nobody wanted Campoli, because it makes absolutely no sense that we wouldn't move him for even a ****ing 7th round pick when he's clearly not in our plans after this season (and rightfully so).

I'm still confused why Boston picked up Rolston.

What would we have had to give up to get Hodgson?

Why didn't we make an offer?

Campoli, Darche, Moen

Three UFAs that are going to leave this offseason and for which we'll get nothing in return.

What's all the buzz around the Preds? They traded away a 1st round pick and 2 2nd round pick for Kostitsyn, Gill and Gaustad.

These aren't elite players.
