How many games....

how many games will Dipietro start this yr?

Is it realistic to say he will get 60+ ?

I guess it depends on how Snow does as well but how many games do you want him to play... and what is realistic?

Yes, it all really depends on how hot each goalie is. Recently DiPietro was the hot hand, and had a bad minute or two against Atlanta and lost the game. Snow then got the next start in Philadelphia (who he always plays well against) and played well, despite receiving the loss in a 2-1 defeat. Tough to say who will start tonight though...but in the wide persepctive of things, DiPietro will most likely get more of the games than Snow.

I think newsday speculated that DP will probably get the start. The thing is, Snow is the one who can play well after long stretches of no playing time. He's a career backup and an experienced one. DP has never been a backup and he'd have problems doing that as he did last season with Snow getting the majority of the starts.
