Playoff push avatars?

When are we all gonna start switching to playoff push avatars?
No goalie No problem sounds like a good motto for them

"I wanna see people rip their heart out of their ****ing chests..." - Peter Laviolette

Maybe we should build on that.

Heart ripping is the new virus?

Well, at least it's not the concussion virus that was going around.

The virus is reserved for the playoffs.

How about a Virus themed avatar for the playoff push, then once we reach the playoffs (hopefully) we use something like: "Virus? Out with Concussion" and other catastrophic injuries (made up) with our players on them.

"Catch the Winning Virus."

or

"I've got the _______ [PLAYER NAME] virus." For example, "I have the Scott Hartnell virus."

or "I've got the Ilya Bryzgalov virus."

So, every avatar would have to have regular season with peter facing the player, then the playoff one would be him ripping the heart out of the players chest... literally. lol

I was thinking...

A picture of Pronger...

Then in quotes:

"I'm having headaches and blurry vision."

Then a picture of Holmgren or Laviolette or McCrossin:

Then in quotes:

"It's just a virus." PLAYOFFS 2012

Or...

Picture of JVR.
"I only play to my potential once a week."
Picture of McCrossin.
"It's just a virus!" - PLAYOFFS 2012

Picture of Carle.
"I keep letting them have the puck."
Picture of McCrossin.
"It's just a virus!" - PLAYOFFS 2012

How about each Flyer as a doctor?

"Dr. Carle says ... turnover virus."
"Dr. Giroux says ... dangling virus."
"Dr. Briere says ... disappearing virus."

I second this. With the template of "2012 Playoffs: Catch the Virus"

I can't remember if we discussed this in previous years, but how about

"2011-2012 Flyers:

Now with (a number goes here) % more (something goes here)"

the possibilities are endless.

"now with 87% more rookies"

"now with 40% more concussions"

you could even do the opposite,

"now with 62% less goal tending" or

"now with 95% less cap space"

This is a good idea, but it sounds familiar. Didn't we do something like this 2-3 years ago?

I want to say that was 2008-09 or something. Whatever the last time we had Parent. Because that was the year Parent was good in the playoffs, and I had "77% more blocked shots." or something.

I think we did, but I honestly can't remember. I just assumed a good idea I had must have been already done before

This was 100% done in the 2009 playoff. I know this because it was when we were rumor to be signing Matt Gilroy and I though it was going to be cool to have two Hobey Baker winners (Matt Carle). I had hoped to get what ever number Gilroy would use + 25 and used that number as x% Hobey Baker. But like an idiot he signed with the Rangers so it never happened.
