I hope we take this game and start our homestand off on the right foot. I have a feeling Boucher will get the start in goal. Comrie?, Scatchard?, and Sanderson(out of the lineup) the other two are day to day.

It looks like both Comrie and Scatchard are going to be game time decisions.
Both this game and tomorrow's match up against the Oilers are a good opportunity to make some ground towards the 8th place. Equally two defeats could end our playoffs hopes in a hurry.
The Sharks were on excellent form but they lost against the Ducks on Thursday.
The Coyotes have won the 3 games we played against them this year but all games were very tight.

Cujo is the net. Excellent intensity in the game by the Coyotes.
In what has become a feature recently, two goals were scored within a minute. 2-0 far.

Cujo with key saves, and now a shorthanded goal by Johnson. 3-0.
Great effort in the second period.

If Cujo plays this well on our home stand, we will get back into the run for the final playoff spot. He is excellent tonight, so far . If he gets the win, I hope we stick with the hot hand for our next game , against Edmonton.

We are winning a lot of face offs tonight.
Ballard with the fourth.

Big deal. The Sharks couldn't win a faceoff against a monkey.

I don't care about the Sharks. I don't care about the monkeys.
I am just happy to note that what was a big weakness for the Coyotes early in the season (face offs percentage) is now much less so.

Hopefully they show the same hustle against the Oilers.

That was the best game from the coyotes on center ice ,in along time. This game was exciting to watch. Ballard is going to be a great player for us. Kudos to the coyotes for playing a great game to keep us within reach of Edmonton. We play them on Sunday and have a chance at getting within 4points of the final playoff spot. Barnett! Hold off all the other G.M's for now, because we aren't out of it quite yet.

That was the best team win of the season ,everyone played a part ,from Cujo making the big saves at the right time,to Ballard`s shot block and then the 3 on 1 slapshot, kind of reminded me of a mini Paul Coffey.Injured players Lundmark,Scatchard and Comrie all contributed and Mike Leclerc had a great game, setting Comrie up for the 1st and also the breakaway goal and a solid plus 3.If this guy is healthy he can play. The guys all seamed to know there roll tonite, very organized ,nice to see.

Ballard continues to impress.
this homestand is crutial, i'm not putting alot of stock in the results of the last two games other than they are over, they were wins, they were worth 4 points.
Tomorrow's game against Edmonton becomes the most important game of the season with a potential 4 point swing up in the air. lose that game and everyone will be all deflated again.
So it's one game at a time with edmonton being a must win.

But i can't argue the fact that it appears that the Coyotes collectively as a hockey club, kind of all seem to have "gotten it" since the Nedved move?

I know Gretzky mixes them up but in general what were the line combinations?

Defensive pairings?

Thanks.

Actually Grets didn`t play with the lines to much last night, forward lines stayed the same all game depending on penalties.Nagy,Johnson,Doan were together,Sjostrom,Scatchard and Saprykin plus the Comrie,Lundmark,Leclerc combo and Nash, Ricchi ,Devereau
